Pulpo a La Plancha - Octopus review by James
The octopus was tender and delicious with sauce and potatoes. I often grill octopus myself and appreciate it done right. It is difficult to make and can easily result tough and chewy. Yours is perfect! Bravo!

My husband and I came to Artango for our anniversary on Tuesday last week. We sat at the bar and didn't tell the bartender what we were celebrating but the entire evening was so special. We ordered a few rounds of drinks and plates to share. Everything was delicious but the Ceviche Nikkei was a standout. The flavors were punchy and ingredients were fresh. We ordered the perfect amount of food between the ceviche, specialty empanada of the day (chorizo), steak flight, along with sides of asparagus and mashed potatoes, followed by a beautiful chocolate dessert. The attentive service was just a cherry on top. We look forward to returning again and again.

Artango is a full dining experience. From the welcoming entrance to the Warm good byes. The menu has anything you might want. I highly recommend the ceviche appetizer and the steak entree. Our server was gracious, light hearted and helpful. The wine and bar menu is complete with something for everyone. We were a group of 5 and each of us had something different. Each was happy with their selection. I lost an earring while we were there. Although the earring was not found, staff tried very hard to find it. Although we did not stay for entertainment the venue is large enough for dancing and noise control is adequate enough to allow conversation

My wife and I stumbled on Artango a few years ago while looking for a German restaurant in the neighborhood. The restaurant had closed so we tried Artango and fell in love with the food, cocktails, service and music. Unfortunately, we live in Reading PA and only visit Chicago once a year to see our daughter. We treated her and husband to Artango in 2025. We eagerly look forward to dine with you this year the first week in June while visiting. Can't wait! Jim Frank
